The Runaway Models - Riot

The Runaway Models are a three piece post-punk band from Glasgow/Dundee. After touring all over Scotland they spent some time in the studio to work on their debut single ‘Riot’ which is released today, St Valentines Day.

The single is a three minute song of thrashing guitars and strong drums, and is a throwback to fast paced punk. There is a brief lull to give the song some breathing space before it reaches its climatic finish.

A good genre enhancing debut single, with good rhythms and a strong angst ridden vocal.

The lead guitarist Jakob has unfortunately broken his arm so keep an eye out for some upcoming live shows once he has recovered.
