Green Wire - Mrs.Artois

Combining the sounds of classic indie rock with a plethora of influences that give them their signature sound, Green Wire are the latest band breaking into the prestigious Manchester music scene.

The band, who formed in the spring of 2021 is Charlie Morris (Drums), Simon Stirzaker (Singer/Songwriter), Jack Massey (Lead Guitar) and Ethan Henry (Bass).

Within the space of a year Green Wire have really taken the Manchester scene by storm, embarking upon sold out shows, their first headline show and the release of two singles which have gained multiple streams.

Mrs.Artois comes out the traps hitting us with a sharp jangling guitar that immediately catches your ear with its ska sounding riff even more pronounced by the bass which underwrites the track.

There are definitely some influences shining through in their music but they are adding their own unique twists to ensure that their sound will be identified as Green Wire.

Mrs.Artois is a song that will go off when played live but is also a cracking danceable tune that will fill the floors at your local ‘Indie Disco’.

It’s my first exposure to Green Wire but very much looking forward to hearing a lot more from them in the future.
