Leave Me in Pieces is our latest and eighth single to date it follows on from Handbrake released earlier this year, Time is Precious from 2019, Slept on The Sofa, Danny Devito, Violent Video Games from 2018 and Redolence and Boys Will Stray from 2017.

oh! and My Thoughts

So where have I been that I wasn’t overly aware of Camens before I heard Leave Me In Pieces.

Their latest track is an absolute monster of an indie anthem, it has all the ingredients of a summer festival favourite, it has some rollicking guitar riffs and power chords from the bass which combine to give the song a melody that is just going to have you bouncing along.

As always with a festival favourite you need a singalong chorus and Leave Me In Pieces delivers this when they sing “leave me in pieces or leave me in peace, you can be everything or nothing to me”.

After hearing this I decided to catch up with more their releases and to be honest they are all cracking, these guys know their way around a tune.

My favourites of previous releases are Violent Video Games which brought them plenty of attention from the likes of BBC Introducing and also Handbrake.

Violent Video Games is an absolute banger of a track, again it’s got that killer melody which immediately reels you in for the duration and once again they deliver with the anthemic chorus of “so take off, take off that ball and chain, get changed let’s hideaway and play violent video games”.

So to Handbrake, as well as being yet another cracking tune from the lads it also has a must watch video.

Just watch the video and enjoy the ride, fantastic melodies and soaring guitars as it tells the story of a lad who can’t let go of his ex, until it becomes borderline stalking.

I’m so glad that I have discovered Camens, they are a band who write feel good indie bangers, with sweeping melodies and anthemic choruses, they are just made for festival season, keep an eye out for them appearing on festivals up and down the country next year.

In the meantime enjoy catching up with their killer tunes, I promise you that they don’t disappoint.
