Glasgow based Techno force and Animal Farm residents, Quail & AISHA, team up once again for their second EP on Soma with the Leatherbound EP.

After debuting earlier this year with The Fall EP, the pair have continued their creative work in the studio and deliver on high octane & intense Techno based workouts, taking inspiration from fast, modern rave and tougher edged sounds.

The EP is further backed from French new blood and fellow Soma Records cohort Felicie, who turns in a hard hitting and rawer interpretation of title track Leatherbound.

The EP was released on Monday 2 November on Soma records.

Title track Leatherbound hammers hard and fast with an electrified hypnotic main hook and some trippy sample vocals.

Felicie ups the tempo of Leatherbound with her interpretation which overlays the hypnotic main beat with a heavier bass beat giving it a more fervent sound particularly in the latter half of the track.

Closing out the three track EP is Hidden Form, which has a more rolling and pulsating beat which edges on breaking out into ecstasy at any point.

Leatherbound EP has a heavy rave beat to it, it deserves to be played in clubs across the country, but until that point returns it’s defo some after dark tunes for the late night fridge raids in the kitchen !!
