Stone Mile are a Greater Manchester/Warrington based alternative indie rock band, formed in 2021. The band consists of Rae (Vocals), Scott (Guitars), Gordon (Drums), Robbie (Guitars) and Ryan (Bass).

They did a run of live shows towards the end of 2021 and their debut single Circular Quay was recorded last month at South City Recording Studio in Stockport and released on 9 February.

For a debut single Circular Quay sounds fantastic, a subtle yet confident and catchy melody that is interjected with some dazzling riffs particularly in the chorus when the track is elevated and comes to life.

Rae’s vocals are especially good and fits in superbly with the track particularly as the track picks up towards the end when they really shine through.

They are hoping to release more music in the first half of the year and I can’t wait to hear it as Circular Quay has put down a good marker.
