Johnny Keating aka Johnny F K, is a guitarist, poet, songwriter and producer from London, now based in Sheffield.

Johnny’s music is drawn from the influences of poetry, folk, punk, and glam rock ensuring his music is eclectic and whimsical.

Johnny F K is signed to Unfocused Love an independent South East London record label who have an ethos of supporting their artists but also the local community through providing a platform for creative individuals to get their work seen and professionally released.

The Well is the lead single off of Johnny F K’s debut EP of the same name, the track was released on Friday 19 February.

The track is driven by a melodic guitar riff complemented by a rhythmic dream beat just allowing you to drift into the track and let your ears absorb its freshness.

The Well is in essence a reflective love song, it’s about connecting with people and Johnny’s delightful vocal encapsulates this sublimely, his poetic lyrics allow him to tell stories that listeners will relate to. There are many examples of those people connections when he sings “you are my favourite you are my joy” and “I make space for love so much space”.

It was my first opportunity to listen to Johnny F K and I was hooked by this melodic and poetic track and can’t wait to hear more from him in the coming months. I suggest you should also get on board and give this carefree musician some love.
