Fabric Bear - One Last Time
Fabric Bear are a 4-piece Indie band from Edinburgh consisting of Ryan Hunter, Callum Jones, Matt Graham and Stewart Clark who all knew each other as friends in the Scottish music scene and decided to come together to deliver infectious indie pop songs with catchy choruses and memorable melodies.
Their previous releases have seen them garner some favourable reviews notably from Vic Galloway who added them to his acts to look out for in 2020 and commented:
That’s an absolute monster of a track! Really accomplished musicians as well. That stood out immediately when I first heard it. I cannot wait to hear more from those guys
They have also been occupying their time in lockdown productively by writing a song about the Corona virus Rona, Why Did You Cancel The Party and then recording a video with clips sent in by family, friends and fans to put a very tongue in touch perspective on the current situation, give the video a watch below:
So that brings us to their latest single One Last Time which was released on 7 West Records today, Friday 3 April 2020 and this is indie pop at its max, the rhythm of the guitar and it’s soft melodies pushing the song along, complimented by excellent baritone vocals from Ryan Hunter.
It’s a nostalgic ode to a lost love with heart warming lyrics and that anthemic chorus of “but darling after all I’ve said and done I wish that I could see you one last time”.
Overall it’s a grandiose tune and exudes the confidence of the band and their skills at delivering anthemic indie pop.
